okay, so as the fthreezy gets closer to completion, i need some info on gear. ive got a joe rocket jacket that was loaned to me, and gloves ill get too. but the boots are my question.
i know they make specialty riding boots, but i am curious if yall think these boots http://www.batesfootwear.com/Catalog/buydetail.asp?rnd=7411449&NavID=&ProductID=9393&SizeTypeID=M&NavType=undefined
are okay to ride in. I wear these boots day in and day out for work and my part time job at the fire dept. Do yall think these are okay for riding? or should i invest in a true motorcycle boot? :dontknow:

I wear the tan version over here. I wore my other set of tan boots there when riding. I dont see a problem . Your just riding the street not the track.
The black side zip is a deal at $39.99

From an abrasion standpoint / them coming off in a crash, they're way better than tennis shoes. As far as ankle support / impact protection they aren't as good as a true motorcycle boot.
On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being flip flops and 10 being say Sidi Vertigo Corsa boots, I'd give it a 6.
BTW, glad to see the F3 is on the road!:icon_thum

i bought these Dianese boots, great and really comfortable

Try them on at cyclegear but order them directly from the manufacturer and save like 30 bucks online! But they are great for traction and support and like wearing tennis shoes they are so comfortable!
