It's been almost a year since I took the MSF course from Awesome Cycles---Walter was my instructor. If he is reading this post, Thank You again for your patience and dedication to teaching people how to ride a motorcycle properly and safely. I recently returned from a 4 week ride to/from Idaho on my CBR. I rode just over 300 miles each day during the trip to and from my grandparent's house and covered about 400 miles visiting sites in and around Boise where I grew up. On several occasions while on the ride, I heard Walter telling me to "live in my mirrors", "remember where I was and what I was supposed to be doing"-both excellent advice as the mind tends to wander while riding along the highway; and my route was composed primarily of backroads and two lane highways rather than the interstates. Enroute, I joined a group of cruisers heading in my direction and we rode a few hundred miles together. No, they did not resent sport bikes any more than I resented cruisers. We stopped often for refreshments and snacks as it was a hot ride and occasionally a wet one, but their company was welcomed. My next long ride on the CBR will be to Kentucky to see my parents in the fall. And yes, the Awesome Cycles education/experience and Walter's sage advice will be riding with me. Being introduced to motorcycle riding was one of the greatest assets to my life. Incidentally, I find that 610 Loop is more dangerous than most highways between here and Idaho. THANKS again, AWESOME CYCLES.:hello::thumb:
