Ok...so I already sent Scooter a pm but I figured I'd ask everyone since everyone is invited. There is a bbq cookoff, open house for the Texas Thunder Harley Davidson Shop in Nacogdoches this Saturday. It's about 2.5 hours from Houston to Nac and is a pretty nice ride.
There's gonna be a band, bikini bike wash, free beer and a damn good time.
Plus, you'd get to hang out with me!!!
2518 N.W. Stallings (Loop 224) in Nacogdoches (936)715-0100
Let me know if anyone wants to come...If so, I'll be on the lookout for you.
Hope to see someone there...hope to see some SPORTBIKES there too. LOL.
Don't worry if you are afraid the Harley guys will give you grief--all the guys I work with are Sportbike and other brand friendly...they just love to ride, and love to meet new people.
The band plays from 11am-3pm but the party starts early and ends at 5pm.
Everyone is welcome!
So come on out!
:hello:
btw, I'm Amanda if you didn't know.

Awww...come on...don't be a wuss!
I've made the ride more than a few times and it is not bad at all. Especially on a nice day, it's a good time to get out and stretch your bike a little--lots of good ground and Nacogdoches has some AWESOME roads that the guys at the shop would be HAPPY to tell you about once you get there.

I'll stop by on my way out of town. it'll be nice to meet someone who doesn't think i'm talking about intravenous fluids when i say "489cc". i haven't met one damn biker on campus so far, the kids in my pre-med flight class think i'm crazy 'cause i'm always talking about some zx-10 or something.

I went to SFA for one semester and did not like it one bit. Moved back to H-Town and graduated from U of H.

too boring for you? It's weird, there's like 12k kids that go to this school, and somehow i still manage to be looking for excitement on friday nights. there's only three things to do here; drink, work, and study.
