Well understand this is all my opinion first.... a lot of people will say you should probably have about 6000ish miles of experience on a sport bike to head to the track but, I think it is based on the individual because a lot of times it is easier to learn the right way to ride your bike the first time around then trying to fix bad habits picked up riding on the streets with other newbies. Ridesmart’s Level 1 class is plenty informative and holds a nice slower pace for the new track riders after which LSTD's beginner class is amazing with the one on one or one on 2 instructions but the pace in their c group can get faster at times with the mix of riders out there. Talk to Ed about all this. He has good knowledge of the subject. The only thing that bothers me is that MSF and the track are 2 totally different animals. Both are great though and MSF can be quiet comedic at times as well. Just giving some perspective from my experiences is all. :icon_thum
