buy used if you don't wanna pay for new. If you dont want used, wait until the end of riding season and buy it then.

He's not going to get a helmet or a jacket from any HD dealership, but have him try Barnett in El Paso.

Or check out Texas Thunder HD in Nacogdoches...I just got a job there and they seem to be slinging deals. Let me know if you're interested and I can talk to the salesman and see what's up with the sportsters.
It's only about 2.5 hours and a nice easy ride...I've done it tons of times.

my dad bought his wide glide band new at russ welch H-D in college station, since then they have changed thier name to independance H-D. they are right off hwy 6 heading towards college station. the thing he liked the most about that dealership is they had the bikes with total ride out price.. not all the extra BS tacked onto it, and still payed 2k cheaper than houston area dealer price

stubbs sucks, they have a big huge assed new building to pay for, keep that in mind.
When I bought mine, I searched all the bigger dealerships in texas, after keeping a notebook on what they were offering and for how much, I found Mancuso in Houston to have the better deal.
the 07's are out and they have F.I. for the first time, this makes the 06 models priced right to sell.
Do some research and be sure to tell him to sign up and say hi when he gets one.

mancuso threw in a helmet (100+), forward controls(400+) and the SE air cleaner assembly(100+) in my deal and still got it cheaper than anywhere else, they even tried to give me two t shirts that I said I didnt want and wouldnt wear.
decide what you want, and bitch slap em till they see it your way, or keep searching dealers, there are plenty of em to call.

I'm not sure who Scooter performed fellatio on :keke: but getting free stuff through an HD dealer is NOT the norm. You'll end up paying for it, somehow.
