Another local shop here in town has one for sale for $1500. The lady that taught my MSF course this past weekend has a brother that runs the place, and she told me to check them out. Money-wish it would be ideal for a n00b like me. Any opinions?

And how do I go and pick this up? My only real option at this point is just buying a new Ninja 250.

If the GS is in good condition it wouldn't be a bad bike for someone with a little experience. If you are a total noob, I'd recommend something smaller.
