Just wanted to thank Patrick and his crew for setting up my suspension yesterday at TWS. The best 25$ I have spent on my bike yet (although the short R1 shifter for 38$ comes in close as well) If you haven't had your suspension set up yet go spend the small fortune of 25$ instead of getting that bling exhaust. Again thank you MU for being there to help us when we are in need.:icon_thum

This is the best money you will ever spend on your bike! Amazing how many people are unaware of how important the suspension is on their motorcycle.

This is also a great way to meet Patrick and crew and throw a few questions in that you may have about your bike, the track or some nice roads in the area.

Ask him about proper body positioning..............it was kinda fun watching him hang off that R-6 on Saturday............like watching a monkey screwing a basketball!!!:laughing6

But it WAS good information.......and it helped the ride alot:notworthy

Exactly, I have taken every bike I own to him (all 10) to have the suspension setup. This gives him a chance to look over it as well. Always watching out for us silly riders. :icon_thum

if you havent done it then the suspension is not set up for your specific weight. hopefully someone will post a better response but this will have to do for now.

Yep, the bike should track better and handle inconsistancies in the corners alot better.

Ever bottom out your suspension in a corner?

I was a little vague, I was talking about GSXR 1000 shock on an SV. There was someone else out there that did it, Patrick was telling him it was a bad idea.

Hey Pat I went by there on saturday but u had the day off...wassup with that?

I was supporting the MH Noob trckday at MSR Houston.

Bring it by Friday and I can get you taken care of.

Basically a suspension setup sets the sag for your weight and optimizes the Rebound and Compression settings for your bike as best can be for stock valving.
