Well he actually got a borrowed bike and got a few things modified on it, mostly the suspension, just for the attempts

Wrong, junior. They(Discovery) gave him the bike. Then RaceTech did the suspension work (front and rear). They get into the whole science of the thing. He (Kane ) told me the gearing was stock and he was going in excess of 160mph when he started bringing it up. The attempt doesn't start though till the back tire is actually off the ground....and you have to roll it to a complete stop. He couldn't tell me what speed he did it at (contract stuff) but he did say that he "SMASHED" the previous record.
