My 34 year old healthy, active wife was just diagnosed with Breast Cancer....WTF!!!

As she says..... "I got a belly full of white dog crap and you lay this on me!"

She has no family history, is outside the age zone, non smoker, eats well and is in excellent shape. Hell we just ran the Marine Corps Marathon in October!!!! WTF!!!!!

She felt a lump under her ARPIT and we insisted to the Doctor to have it checked out....he ordered the mammogram just to humor us as he assured her it was nothing and to enjoy the Holiday. What a jackass!!!! Guess stage two cancer is nothing to bother with.....Happy Holidays enjoy your three tumors!!!!!!!!

Gals....(guys with gals).....don't let your doctors refuse to take you seriously, if we didn't take charge of her care it would have spread more.

She is blogging about her battle:

Oh man, sorry to hear the bad news. I hope this goes well for you, it's always scary to hear the "C" word but the treatments are so much more effective and so much less harsh these days.
Good luck, my thoughts go out to you both...

Damn, that sucks. Is it at least in an early manageable state? (Sorry, I didnt click the link).

I've met you guys before and I remember your wife. Very pretty, petite lady with the Ducati rocking the full leathers, right?

I don't remember her screen name at the moment, but hope all turns out well for you!

Edit: Nice blog LOL... Helios officially votes for the Ducati Red Wig.
Kudos on the courage and sense of humor!

Sorry to hear...my mom has stage 4 cancer right now and is still holding somewhat strong after being diagnosed in 2001...she beat it once then it came back (she fell of her insurance so didnt go to the DR for 2 years)

Your wife can and will beat this...its gonna be tough but she can do it...

Yes Doctors are stupid...in 2006 when we found out her cancer was back the assholes told us she had 6 months to live!! Well 2011 and shes still kicking, I wish I can go back and kick that doctor in his fuckin balls:nod: Stay on those fools and try to get more than one opinion
Sux for me because cancer runs very deep in my family so Im almost a shoe in:sad:

I wish the very best for you and your wife

I wish her the best of luck, it really sucks to be hit with something like that so young. Take good care of her during chemo.
Sounds like it may be time to have a serious talk with the doc and probably start looking for a new one.

My Wife's cousin just had both breasts removed at 30. She had to see several doctors to get one to check her out. They kept saying she was too young. She is fixing to go through chemo.

My wife's pain tolerance is amazing, she is one tough bitch. We have been running during her chemo treatments and we did 4 miles tonight at memorial. She gets some looks since she she has a shaven head and it is falling out...but it doesn't phase her. She just keeps pushing thru the pain, dealing with it, rubbing some grass in it and embracing the experience.

Feel free to check out her blog, pass it on and join as a follower!

Keep spreading the SUPERMONKEY message...."FIGHT LIKE A GIRL!"
