Very true, also, the more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns when not weight training.

If u r interested in loosing fat and toxins naturally, without loosing muscle mass and without starving. Check out this holistic wellness center in Cypress for a consultation.http://houston-yoga-ayurveda.com/
IMO, it's wise to stay away from the "fat burners" ...chemical metabolism boosters. They may produce seriously harmful side effects.
Also, over exercising generally causes adrenal depletion.
good luck.

Most people wind up doing a push/pull/legs and shoulders for a 3 day split. Rep range should probably be around 12-15 reps per set, with some cardio after and/or on off days if you can. Working in high intensity intervals on your cardio days will get you faster progress as well.
You should also be eating a high protein diet and restricting your calories to an appropriate level. The only way to really lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit - eating less calories than your body uses.

Heresy! People are big bones, or have a thyroid condition or (insert BS reason here)....
It has nothing to do with consuming 3000 calories and sitting on your ass all day.....
Just as any fat person....

To get lean & cut, you don't want anything heavy bcuz that way it will force your muscle bundle to contain more water. The result, the bulk
If you got the duration to do cardio and abs workout for 1 ~ 1.5hrs, go for it. Anything that raise your heart rate to 150ish for more than 15 min will help you burn fat. Bicycle, swimming, running, stairsmaster (my favorite) etc.
another important factor is food. Stay away from those saturated fat aka the bad fat. Eat more avacado, fish and chicken. Less carbs. work out 5 days a week, you should be able to see some result in 2 wks.

You have to be careful though cause all that shit are very high impact on your joints. My friend destroyed his right knee doing the plyometric training.

P90X plyometrics is an amazing program, I have it and have done it plenty. It can be for beginner or experts, it's up to you to choose what pace you work at. They teach you in P90x how to do things "modified" (altered a bit to your level of comfort.)

All depending on how hard you run, you might want to throw in a day's worth of rest, after the 2nd day. Every runner is different.

i just looked up trex on google and it looks like a lot of core exercises, balancing and whatnot. i do know that crossfit will eat your face though, i tried it for a few months and i thought my heart was gonna explode. i'm in fairly good shape. crossfit will improve strength and reduce fat, p90x will mostly just reduce fat, and it *looks* like this trex thing tries to do a little of both

Lift heavy and take your multi. Good luck with your lifting goals of 2011-2012.
meh, no multi needed, just some good ol fashioned organic food. stay away from processed poop nugget foods...
lift heavy... anyone telling you to not lift heavy or keep your rep range over 15 reps with lighter weights is clueless... when you're eating a caloric deficit you need to to what you can to minimize muscle loss... you are gonna lose muscle as well as fat. Unless you are taking AAS you will not be able to burn fat while gaining muscle unless you've been sedentary your entire life. Im not saying "dont" do cardio... but everything in moderation.... If your main goal is to lose bodyfat and maintain your current muscle then Lift heavy weights! its ok to lift higher rep ranges, but like I said... "everything in moderation" you want to mix it up... higher reps for strength training or breaking plateaus... heavy low rep for anabolism. cardio is a tool to get your calorie expenditure higher. It should not be your sole means of caloric expenditure... lifting weights is far superior to overall caloric expenditure vs cardio. HIIT is great too but it is known to put your body into a catabolic state... make sure you do not lift on these days as well....
In the end, Abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym...
