I've worked out with a few people on here and bullshitted my way through it. :-/
I really want to do it this time.
Right eating. working regularly.
I'm motivated as shit. Just working out alone is a quick way to drain motivation. No one to challenge yourself with. :banghead:
So I figured MH has already helped me in every other aspect of life might as well see if it can get me healthy. :D
I weigh about 150. I'm a small guy. I have a 4 pack and all but I want 6-8. I want to gain about 20 pounds of muscle in about ... 8 months.

i have a shitload of dumbells and a pulldown machine was given to me. have a bench that needs re-upholstering.
i'm @ 6/529
i workout every other day but would do daily alternating muscle groups if we can work out a program

Is that drive to your house feasible?
I was kind of looking for someone in the spring area so that we can do a short commute to the work outs and sutff.

If you're looking for those results, I'd listen tow what he has to say about food intake to support and encourage the muscle development. You dont want muscle that will disappear the moment you stop talking artificial additives.

Added Muscle mass...just read and take the supplements SIMILAR to what they want you to buy from them...Its Easy..its free and you never have to worry about if your doing it right..the first 12 weeks they tell you and explain everything you need to know about weight training...all you have to do is read it and follow the workout program...but I did the BSN Stack (Nitrix, Cell Mass, and NoXplode) with Protein and I gained alot of muscle..

do yourself a favor and go by yourself, relying and or blaming a workout partner for your own lack of dedication is pointless and will get you no results.
I go alone. Would be nice to have someone to be accountable to.

Didnt mean to sound like a dick. But seriously bro, a workout partner will only be an excuse to not go full throttle in the gym, or even skip days... Unless you get a workout partner that is a competition body builder or fitness fanatic than they will only bring you and your workouts down. If your serious about it then you are the only person you need to be accountable to. You push yourself and motivate yourself on your own!

I have a great wo partner. I got him into working out. He has been looking for me in the gym for 8 months now. That bastard can even go when he is off cycle. Those are hard to find.

Dont touch the shit until you've been lifting for years and you know how to eat properly to gain musclemass / cut bodyfat etc... if you cant gain weight naturally, you are wasting your money on a cycle.

Well, up until recently I was doing P90X... I'm ready to get out of the house and join a cheap Gym, fitness connection sounds like a good spot. Only $9.99 an month with no contract (I haven't gone in yet but seen the commercials). Plus they have Racket ball, and that is a fun, bad ass cardio workout.
I'm looking for a workout partner too, for me it would be Mon-Fri after 5:30. At the Fitness Connection on Westheimer and Hayes rd (Westchase Area). If you can't do it evryday, you can come on the days I will play Racket ball, that's actually more of what I want...

Cycle will bump you up 20 lbs in 2months. Lot of water retention.

lol, i'd rather eat right and take my protein shakes and gain weight over paying a crazy amount for a good cycle just to gain quicker. Gain it the healthy way. More than likely your body will thank you for it later in life.
If you put in the hours, eat right and take good quality shakes, you should have no problem seeing improvement in a month and a half. You've seen my skinny ass and it worked for me.

Gear should be used to take your physique or fitness goals beyond that of your genetic capabilities... I seriously doubt most of you cats in here have come close to your genetic bondaries!
Its easier to work out alone rather than searching for a lover boy to workout with.
Between foot races with my dog and gym time at the station I see improvements.

I workout 5 days a week at I-10 and S Kirkwood got 3 private gyms at my disposal
I'd spend more money driving to work out with you than it would cost just to get a gym membership.
I can use any gym at any hpd station for free.

i found that i do better alone than when my friend starts going with me. It seems like all she has to do is text me saying she cant make it, then i start thinking well maybe i wont go tonight. When im on my own i seem to make it :-/ so ben.......theres alot of truth to what he is saying. I see what you are saying too cuz i do enjoy having someone there as well. :D

Mr. D - i have most of the summer off from teaching so i might hit you up to go work out a few times, maybe get a regular schedule going. i'm off 290 and hollister so it's a decent drive. I'm about 190 lbs. and could always stand to take shed some fat and add some muscle!
Davekg - im going to try to build up some endurance for running. i struggle past about 2 miles, so i have so work to do. do u have an area u like to run at?

I've also come to realize that I will never be muscular. Only toned. Can't help it.

BaylorNinja500...I hit the streets around my house in Spring... I also like going over to the woodlands and running their trails hundreds of miles of them over there.. I like this one road just off my neighborhood because it has a bridge approach it's good for the elevation change... yah I try and run at least three days a week... What part of town are you in? It would be great to meet someplace especially if you start building your mileage... I did a 3 a 6 and a 9 mile run last week...

nice! yeah, ur way ahead of me w/ endurance but ill try get some stamina up by in the coming months. i live off 290 / hollister area. i can be in spring area in 15 mins or so
