How was one mexican on an R1 going to steal 2 bikes?
Leave his bike, steal one, walk back, unload the other off the truck, steal it, walk back, then ride his R1 home?
Don't get me wrong, definitley sounds like that dude was up to no good, but how did he get into your friend's back yard?
Shouldn't have let him take off.

I generally lurk around peoples back yards at night when looking to purchase my next bike, seems to work well.

My friends house is at a the end of a street no fence around it. Somedays I leave my bike out there jus cause.. and he had stunt bike in the back of his truck.. I shoulda coulda did a lot of things but it caught me at a suprise that someone would park there bike in the street walk to the yard and jus stand there lookin. Maybe he was scoping to comeback and get it. So I jus parked it in the garage. A lot of theives got balls now I couldn't walk to someones back yard with a bike in it if someone paid me too.

No way I'd go into any stranger's backyard at night.... that is crazy.
That's one of those situations where you are more shocked and unexpected then anything else.
I am sure if you walked into your garage and someone was in there, you'd be much quicker to instantly attack, but the unprotected backyard is a little more of a surprise then anything.
