Im looking for someone who is employed there....
We had a family membership for 2-3 yrs, family stopped going after about 6 mos, and would start going when I told them I was going to cancel.
Guess what they want for Xmas? LOL
I just use my 24hr fitness for 11.99/mo....

I workout at the Lifetime Fitness in Lake Houston. Before I started competing in Fitness I worked as a trainer at Bally, LA Fitness, Fitness Connection, 24 Hour Fitness and I must say Lifetime is the shyyt. I call it my castle because I spend most of my time there anyway. It can be expensive but it's well worth it! There's a couple of wrestlers that workout at my Lifetime...one of them is the guy from WWE huuuuuge dude, The Great Khalil. :D go with Lifetime, trust me it's worth it!

I do workout at the citycenter one and like it a lot, i go mostly during lunch hour since it's so close to my work. And the company I work for pays for most of it (I only have to pay like $15/month) so it's even better.

Thats a sweet deal, wish I only paid 15 bucks, but reguardless I really like this gym it's by far the best one I've ever been too, just the price you party is a lil ridiculous

I have a membership also at the lifetime on west lake houston but that gym is way to crowded and the weights arent that great too many machines not enough free weights. 24 is good on 1960 in Atascosita also MONSTER gym in Kingwood. Golds in Kingwood way overrated and out of date.

i have been to all the gyms, golds, 24hr, LA fitness, non of them compare to lifetime fitness, better people, super nice and clean, and everything they offer, not to mention all of the equipment, family & kid friendly , most other gym dont have what im use too, yes its expensive, but you get what you pay for, if you dont need the extras and are not spoiled like me, then a cheaper gym is for you.

Personally, I like the dirty gyms with bad attitudes, dust cropping by the squat racks and old equipment. I loved Golds Gym in CA becuase they had the old school machines that used chains instead if wires/cables/bands...and the padding on those old school machines are like pillows compared to the planks of todays machines. "Clean/New" gyms attract social people and they sit around and take up space!

They actu have a gym like that over here on the north side. No cables/bands. Even no AC. It's more for the "hardcore" workouts. That is true what u say tho, luxury attracts ppl

There is actually a couple. There is a private one where they actually turn the heater on and keep it hot as shit the whole time. You walk in and just start sweating
