My dad gets them mainly from lifting heavy shit (owns a mechanic shop on westhimer) He's actually going to see him in a couple weeks for another one. He said he is good. Obviously or he wouldn't be going there again.
His office is on the northside 59/kingwood
Good luck

Been having mine for about 2 1/2 yrs already. Need to go get it taken care of, but just haven't had time... :-/. Check out Houston hernia. From what I hear now-a-days, they've went to a new "patch" method that heals to the inside of your stomach lining. If done good and right, it'll never bother you again....

yeah just have to get the right patch.. from what i read a lot of the mesh patches are on a recall list or lawsuits against the manufacture. lots of problems with some of them..

More info might be useful... for example the name and/or phone number of the doctor.

i had the laproscopic roux en y earlier this year and while in there the doctor fixes a couple of hernia's. one was a hiatal and the other was a subcutanious?.?. neither one has bothered me since, however its only been almost a year. his name is Dr.Carlos Ferrari ,google his name for his website, idk if he can just fix hernia but he is a good laproscopic surgeon and he can fix a hernia.
