Was looking at Radar Detector laws in California and stumbled acrossed this.

wow didn't realize that some states were so different...thanks!! You would think it would be the same in each state to make it easy!!!

Looks like the only ones that restricts Radar Detectors is Virginia, and D.C.
I guess I'll be bringing the V1 with me just for added measure.

just remember that web site is 5 years old
i bet you could find which states its legal on better on a site that sells them :icon_thum

Yup. Just went to an online store like crutchfield that sells radar detectors and they sad this
"Sorry, but we cannot ship radar detectors to Virginia or the District of Columbia."
I guess it's still true. I'm also covered in British Columbia since it is one of three provinces that allow the use of radar detectors.

sounds good, just wanted to point that out. last thing you want is to get a ticket for having one cause a site was not updated or taken off the web

Is there a kit that you can buy to mount a radar detector on a bike?
