My girlfriend is real short 5feet max. she went to take her MSF class at lone star about a month back and they released her because she could not balance the bike taking off( don’t ask me why she went to that class I didn’t know her when she signed up for it.) anyway I told her I took my class at awesomecycle and loved it. But no one was real short in our class.
So if she takes your class will you guys teach her? She can balance the bike ( I think they used Hondas in her class they were real low tho. ) can you shed some light on this subject

She's NOT 5'; she's only about 4'10 MAX. :keke:
I started on a Nighthawk 250 - which is what they have in the Awesome class. She should be able to touch the ground (I know she couldn't on my SV). I can only tippy-toe on the SV, but I could flat foot the Hawk.
I can touch the ground on a base model Ninja 250, but they can be lowered! That's her best bet at being able to ride. Itzel has a lowered 250 - I can flat foot that bike. :thumb:
The Honda Rebel is not good, because it is wide under the seat and that throws off the balance.

Her hieght has nothing to do with it, My girlfriend is 4'11 and can ride a dogboned gsxr. Her equilibrium just may be off? Find a friend that has a 250 and work with her on it. (thats how i did my gf)

No, trust me, she's too short. If your feet don't touch the ground, you can't ride. My legs are 29" and I can just reach on my lowered SV - she couldn't even get close. :er:

So everyone has the same length legs and torso? Im bout to make a call to the clothing manufactures and save them billions!! :gesture:
To the OP:
Has she gotten the basics down on something she can handle? Like say a 50? After you get the basics its all a balancing act.

Get a training bike for her on the cheap, set it up so she can ride comfortably and use that to take the class on. It's crazy how low you can get a 600

It will be difficult to situate her problem, might have to go with something very small, even the 250 ninjas at A.C would get her tip toe'n...and forget about her being able to do the "box"...they do have scooters there though and I believe they can be used.

woah woah woah!!!! i was riding a kx 250 at 11-12 years old and i could never touch the ground on it till i was about 14. that didnt stop me. once you are rolling who cares if you can touch the ground. as long as she can reach the pegs shes good. im sure she can lean her ass off the seat and get one foot on the ground. which is all she needs. monkeys can be taught to ride bikes im sure she wont have a problem. if you can teach her break up with her and send her my way and ill teach her lol
