I bought this from a guy on the Jockey Journal.
Its a real antique glass door knob threaded in the brass base.
I'm going to use it for my jockey shift on my Harley.

I LOVE those kinda door knobs.
The dumb question.....jockey shift?? I'm not familiar with that term.
Meanwhile finally got my bike back today...looks good and is running well. It's gonna take me a little bit of riding to get used to the new handle bars though.

jockey shift is suicide shift correct?
jockey shift is the term for the type or location, like behind the left leg, like a jockey would be riding a horse and popping it with his whip, hence forth jockey shift.
to use one, you have to install a "suicide clutch" or foot clutch.
