I had an awesome day! Thanks Tim for always taking such great care of me. It was my first time to even sit on the bike since clavicle break part 2 and I think I did pretty well all things considered. My arm fatigued very quickly so I didn't ride a lot but I did what I set out to do! I LOVE the track that direction! Look forward to the next one!

Second that.
I actually shouldn't have eaten a whole one cause it stuffed me. Anyways, thanks Tim and Brena for putting on a good show yet again.
Intermediate was more challenging this time around with the faster more advanced guys riding. I saw that 6ft rule bent and damn near broken a number of times. I was expecting it knowing the competitive nature of some of the riders that showed up...but others weren't. So that's something to think about.
Other than that I had a blast and found myself pushing harder and going faster than I ever have before. And that's a good thing. :thumb:

I saw this and wanted to raise the yellow flag but it didnt occur too much at my turns so i let some go. Most of the "action" happened on the other side of the track.

When stuff like this happens u need to let Tim or myself know. We don't see everything and if someone is breaking the rules they are not going to know they need to be more cautious unless someone talks to them. While u may not have had a problem with it, the next person they might have passed to close and spooked them.

I was told that Tim was told. But obviously that wasn't the case.

1st and 2nd intermediate sessions are up on the website www.visualvelocitystudios.com these files are really small but it will give you an idea of what we have. With this many pictures to upload, larger files would just take too long. If you want a digital download of a file, give us the file number and a larger on will be uploaded. If you want a cd, those files will be a larger resolution without the watermark across the middle.
more files are being processed as I type this and will be uploaded as they finish.
the ones that are being uploaded right now are just the ones that I have on my computer, I still need to get the pictures from Paul so those will be added to the session galleries tomorrow if I can't get with him today.

Great day, fosho! I really enjoy riding GSS, whether it be CW or CCW. Big thanks to the Groove Union staff. You guys hosted a great day
Side note...hope I wasn't one of the(close passing)offenders?! I try to be mindful and respectful when making passes at GU events. I realize there is no "Advanced group" which is why I try not to sneak up on anyone. I'd like to apologize if I came a little close during a pass.

One of the things that amazes me when I watch you go around the track (that sounded gay) is how you NEVER stuff or interrupt anyone out there. Steve was telling me your fast laps out there on your personal bike is like a :55...I can't fathom that!!!
Brena, next time I'll say something and not rely on second hand info. :er:

You should have told me duder. You knew I was working. I would have made sure that got passed along.
Yeah, Alonzo is real clean on his passes. Even when he rolled out in novice and was passing people like they were stopped it never seemed as if he spooked anyone.
Great day for me, but getting back from the TMGP races in Denton (go BiPolar!!!) at 4 AM meant a late morning. John handled Grid in the AM, I helped out in the PM. I even managed to get in 2 sessions at the end of the day on my 1000, woo hoo. Another fun day!

Since i first started riding with you guys and gals back when TTD was going. You have made huge improvements in both your riding styles and your dispositions. I dont see jumping up in the turns or line switching or brake checking going on anymore. A lot of you have gotten way faster. Everyone in the classes i rode with looked very smooth and flowing. When i pass i always try to do it with respect and space but there are times when things get close. Im used to it being bar to bar banging at speed. Me and Kevin Scwantz bumped many times at 160 mph. HA!! I think all you riders have made huge improvements and only more practice and riding time will help you.Tim @ gang are doing a great job. I had a blast. Wish more Sumo's would show up though..:hello2:

I came out to watch you in the second to last corner, and you snuck around dr.awkward so smooth and clean it makes me sad that my passes aren't as proficient. not that I go around passing people all day, but I have a lot to learn. watching alonzo makes me wanna go home and be a better person. a better, faster person. with more hair.
such a great time seeing everyone out there, if you see me and you have a concern, stop me and ask. I'll make sure the right people know.
