I am looking for a place to take my MSF BRC and heard good things about Awesome Cycles. With the weather being what it is, how will that affect the class besides being wet?

as long as there's not thunder or lightening, "generally" class will go on
sometimes class will be delayed if its a HEAVY downpour.
thats in general, dunno specifically at awesome

My buddy and I took the class last August and we fried Sat and Sun right up until the heavens opened when we were about to start our riding test. We just got on with it and everyone passed.
Classes at all sites run in rain. All pause training in dangerous conditions (severe lightning, high winds, drenching downpours, hail, etc.) A little rain doesn't hurt training, and, hey, if you live in Houston, chances are you'll ride in the rain anyway. Might as well discover in a safe environment that it's not bad if you know how to handle it, and that's one of the things you learn in a Basic
RiderCourse.

Just finished my BRC at Awesome some 2 weeks ago.
Yeah...rain or shine. They'll delay for lightning, but pretty much nothing else.
Unrelated, but I hope you picked the 3-day package...it's way better than the 2. Splits up the time you have to spend outside, and gives you the morning slot on the range each day. I always felt bad for the other guys when we left at noonish and they were just getting out to start...

Yep. You'll be very wet. Spent almost the entire second day in the rain, and took the riding test on wet asphalt.

fact is - conditions are pretty much ideal at the course, if you cant do it there in a little rain then why would you feel safe on the road or in traffic with the rain?
