yes, you can clutch up in 2nd...3rd...4th...! It's all about how well you can wheelie!

2nd gear is pretty standard for clutching it up. keep your ass out of first unless you wanna loop it. I'm not sure of your riding ability, but that bike will/should be able to power it up in 2nd, or bounce it up without the clutch. got MSF? you may need it .

yes it is different on other bikes, most bikes have different power bands and throttle responses depending on the model/yr...
i know it is possible, but i wanted to know the opinion from a person who has rode the 2k6 versus , because i have heard/read that slight changes were made between between the yrs

better cover the rear brake on that one fool, engine breaking will not bring you back down from 3rd gear and higher whoolies on that bike. and yes, that bike will clutch it up in 3rd gear on the highway.

I had an 03 gsxr 600 and could just power it up in second, so clutching it should be a non-issue really.

yeah i own one, but this thread was not asking "HOW to clutch this bike or how to clutch a 600 "...
the questions were does anyone own this bike and is clutching, and the powerband....

i had some follow up questions to ask the person who is clutching this bike
