So a good friend of mine and his boss each went out and bought Harley's last Friday. My buddy got a 1981 Harley Shovelhead. I don't know what his boss had. Yes, had.

He had ridden years ago and I guess he figured it would all come back to him pretty quick. He went out 2 days later, on Sunday, and killed himself. No helmet and no gear.

A car that was in front of him switched lanes all of the sudden, he locked up his back wheel then highsided off the bike when he released the rear brake (we've all seen this happen). My friend remembers telling him that he needed to start using more front brake. He died in the hospital a few hours after the accident.

It was sad the dude died. We all need to remember how rough it can be out there. Over half this country forgot about 911 and us getting our ass kicked by a few Illeagles and now we have a moron for president and house and congress to boot!
It is very important to remember and learn from the past

There are enough RIP threads as it is. The OP doesn't need a reminder that they lost a friend. If you feel the need to use search and remember, do it yourself, no need to bring back the thread unless you plan on doing an anniversary ride or something like they did for Yankeer6.
