Thanks to Tim and everyone for a great day at the track. Riding was smooth, we never got off 20 minute sessions for more than 5 minutes, and crashes were minimal.

John and I were working grid, out in the lonely easy up away from all the pit action.

Hats off to Rob for helping us with making calls in the pits! Riding a minibike, with a clutch, with a microphone...not easy. We finally found a good use for an open face helmet. Rob, straight from Germany....

The day started off quiet, but the track took it's fair share of casualties early on in motard and intermediate.

Solid mounted 10k RPM singles tend to vibrate a lot, my hands still tingle. That thing is the worst bike I've ever ridden on the track, and the most entertaining. Short courses like GSS cater to little bikes, but keep even guys on 1000's highly entertained.

My 13 year old son Sid out for his 2nd track day and 2nd time to ever swing a leg over a street bike. Helmet head FTW!

We erased most of the chicken strips on his $500 VTR project...

I had a blast running laps with Zimm (Jacob I think), me on my stock 150...

....him on his warmed over CRF100. We were within .5MPH on top speed, so I had to pull him backward by the shoulder to make a pass on the straight. Even on a 50MPH four stroke this track is fun.

20 minutes sessions, 3 per hour, ran smooth until lunch. 1 hour for lunch (yum, chicken salad sammich, coke, and cheetos!) and a very smooth clean parade lap, then back to the fun. Lots of old faces and lots of new faces. A full house.

One unfortunate get-off by a blazingly well ridden RS85, but otherwise mostly incident free....20/20/20 tons of track time and time to pose and show off the latest gear from 2007

By the 4:00 motard / lightweight session we had !!! 1 !!! rider on track so we opened up a 40 minute open session and closed the day with a 20 minute novice run. Everyone seemed to get in more than enough track time and after 4:00 it was less than 10 bikes on the track. Then, the final checkered...
