hey there peeps,

my clutch is starting to slip and was wondering if anyone could hook me up. bike is an 03 R6, needing aftermarket or OEM clutch. if you happen to know someone or are the person for hook ups let me know. everything is appreciated.

I went back with OEM on my 03 R6 and it worked great.

OEM is the only way to go!

I believe the fix was to have the transmission forks replaced, or something similar to that. Not sure though. Sounds like the bikes been ridden hard..
The case needs to be split and you might as well examine your main & countershaft gears in the tranny as well. Hell, examine everything and change it out while your in there...if ya have the money.:nod:

Damn, what is it with people burning up clutches? I drag raced my GSXR1000 over 60-100 times and rode 50,000 of the hardest miles a bike has ever seen. The motor blew up before the clutches ever slipped. I have never had to replace a set of clutches on a bike.

I had 7000 miles on my bike when the clutches went out...Drag raced alot and constant wheelie dstroyed it lol... b4 the clutch i went 10.80s recently on a freshly brok in clutch i went 10.29 cant recall the mph but it was up there...
