Well done. Aside from the inevitability of stupidiy from some people (including myself) Everything was run good and smooth, even if some peoples heads bouncing wasn't as smooth. Quite honestly I almost feel spoiled at the attention we were all able to recieve. . .that and the smokin hot corner worker

His bell was rung pretty good. Indeed, get him looked at.

Aw, thanks. I'm flattered, but I wasn't working any corners today. Well, there was this one time when I filled in for a few minutes for a nice young lady who had to to pee, but, anyway. :keke:
Speaking of not working corners, for someone who wasn't working corners, I sure picked up a lot of bikes that hit the ground.

it wouldn't hurt for the attendees of novice class to listen to the instructor when they say "if someone goes off, keep riding and don't focus on it". that means, don't pull over on the track, let an instructor do it. you're bike is blocking traffic. not smart. also, either get off the track or don't when you signal for track exit. but please signal.

Great time as always... could use more trash cans around the area besides one at the main entrance.
I said it before, I'll say it again: Tim runs a smooth operation. Tech is quick but thorough, sessions are punctual, instructors are helpful, the crowd is friendly. And the track is curvy, clean and smooth. It's a low-drama, low-overhead, high-content track day.
It was great fun to meet (re-meet: if I remember your name it's because we've met several times already, online or off) lots of friendly folks: Billy, Larry, Rob, Tony, Celine, Gavin, Kevin, Tony Ta, Chad.
May I say how cool I think the parade laps at GSS are? Letting folks run around more than once, allowing some careful passing: it looks like you're setting the hook much deeper than 1-2 single file laps as I've seen other track org's do. I'm sure it makes GSS parade laps a worthwhile destination for Saturday riders and surely makes them that much more eager to join us on the grid all day next month.
I'm surprised at how well everything runs with the, ahem, basic level of amenities at GSS. I guess it's true it's all about the people. However, I wonder if a hose or some other water source might be a possibility for washing up? Maybe hook up a hose to that sink standing in the field? Especially as summer draws on!

i missed this event, but i am going with tef on this one. Its getting near the hot hot summer, and it would be great is GSS could step up the amenities a bit. I have heard they would be in place by the summer and summer is around the corner

Tim, hope you're alright buddy!! We heard about an instructor going down and making a hospital trip on our way back from ECR. Obviously don't like to hear about anybody going down, especially one of my friends!!
Heal up quick buddy! Also to the other down'd riders.

I was looking for the concession stand..
Concession stand? Just be glad we got our own port-a-potty.
Had a blast playing with the other motards.
Thanks to John for the tire pressure advice and for towing me around some. It felt like I dropped some more time off my laps.
Thanks to MU and Scott for getting the Brembos on the bike before the track-day. They felt AWSOME!

Good all around event, wish I could get my suspension tuned. Guess I'll make the run north cause it needs it bad.

Your welcome! Lolz there are a few perks to having your man being in charge, like bitching about the porta cans and guys being so gross. So we got our own the last 2 events. Thanks hunnie! :-)

Thank you, my girl was very impressed, and appreciated. Small way to make her feel more welcome. Maybe I can drag her to every track day easier. :thumb::thumb:
