HID lights

I have an 04 gsxr 600. I was wondering if any of you guys out there have 1 with hid lights? If so, where did u get it from and how hard is it to install? Or should i just get those fake looking hid lights?

if you got the angel "eye" for the gixxer from highbimmin that would be pretty cool. never seen one on a gixxer before. other then that ive seen hid on a gixxer. remember its just not a bulb but you're going to have to mount the ballast somewhere else

that's the only problem i have with my r6... those ballasts are a bitch to get tied down. they just rock themselves out of the quickties :eh:

I sent my headlights to the website guy, he converted everything... and ricky and I (mostly ricky lol) installed them

The HID's are a breeze to install. They are plug and play for the most part. All you need to do is find a place to mount the ballast. Whatever you do, stay away from fake look a like cheap $9 bulbs. Those have worse light out put then fisher price flashlights.

if you want to be a real baller, then you have to retro some projectors into headlight assembly.

you really dont have to be a real balla... Sometimes it's cheaper to retro then to buy a cheesy asian kit. But it seems to me it will be "easier" for him to just buy plug and play.

So how much did it cost you in the end? Inclusive of Shipping/handling, and the actual price.

Did the guy do a pretty clean job?
