ok. so i go to a friends house and grab my phone out of the trunk of my bike. not paying attention, i lock my keys in the trunk and when trying to pull my bag out of it while pulling up the end of my seat cowl, i snap it where the brackets attached. got my keys, rode to walgreens, buy some superglue and go to work on that bitch. now...i put so much superglue that when i put the seat cowl back on, some of the shit dripped on the paint. i know i know, its my fault for being impatient. My question is, how the **** do i get the glue off the paint without damaging it or am i screwed? i really dont want to get it repainted but i somehow have a feeling thats what im gonna have to end up doing. BUT if i dont have to repaint, ill be really happy. its hard to go a day without my baby. please help. Anyone have any suggestions.

not being sarcastic or anything...but try some superglue remover...it's usually right next to the superglue at the store of your choice

before you try anything on it. make sure you TEST it on a section of hte pain on the bike your not gonna be able to see would suck to get the super glue off only to be stuck with a big orange spot on the paint lol.

is the glue on the tail or on the cowl? seems like you should buy a new cowl anyways. if its on the tail i say leave it . for somereason i think messing with it will make it worse

have you tested goo gone to see how it reacts with your paint?
think a problem you are going to have is the superglue and anti-superglue are both solvent based, meaning, the paint will most likely be disolved as well as the plastic ... no bueno
