Im having trouble lowering the handle bars on my bike cause it looks like if they go any lower, the fairing stay will be in the way. the f4i's hand bars sit up higher then most sport bikes, i guess for rider comfort but id like to move them lower since im tracking it. any suggestions?

I have the Vortex clipons... They go down a wee bit and are angled a bit more aggressive and lighten your wallet to make you go faster.

^ lol cuz bitches, tracking this hoe out is alot cheaper then buying another trackbike. it wouldnt make that bad of a track bike at all. and im somewhat lost interest in riding around on the streets. so eh

No it's not... look around partner. A 1993 F2 with suspension work will be better than a stock F4i.
BTW... my F4i is stock save for a new rear shock and it's worked for 13 trackdays for me. :icon_bigg Are you sure you need to upgrade clipons? Sounds like you should upgrade skills first if your new to the track.

David, you got told by a veteran.
Need to brush up on your mechanic skills as well or you'll become good friends with Patrick... which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

i know, guess i just needa convince myself the f4i is all i need, so i can stop looking around for other stuff and focus on this one. racetech stuff isnt that expensive but the valving/ tuning is off the wall. i keep thinking suspension, because ive pushed this bike pretty hard at msr a few times and it loses traction in high speed leaning. im hoping my its just because my stock suspension isnt tuned right. i mean im like 135lbs and i have set pretty soft, it dives into the corner just fine but its like after a certain point the tire slips. I just know i can get more out of it then its offering =/

If his bike is sh!t... then my bike is sh!t cause it's the same thing. When people call my bike sh!t... it gets pissed. When my bike is pissed... I get pissed. I always seem to run my best lap times when I'm pissed. :icon_thum Name the trackday and we'll see who's bike is sh!t. :icon_bigg
Dude... you're 135? You don't need any revalving, you just need your suspension set up properly. Go to Patrick at Motorcycles Unlimited. It's like $25 to have him set it up, it makes a HUGE difference. I'd been riding my bike pretty hard for 12 trackdays and finally upgraded my rear shock to an Ohlins. I'm 185 with no gear... you're the same size as all the little Japanese test riders whom they design bikes around. :icon_smil
