Like the title states I am curious as to some of the better chain and cable lubs that are out there. Is there anyone specific one that is better? Really need to get this done, have not lubed my bike since first buying it, so I am really needing something good.

Help:notworthy PLEASE

WD40 WORKS BEST FOR ME...i find that chain wax or lube actually attracts dirt and dust...

I use Bel Ray chain lube.
Honda makes a good cable lube.

Belray or Motul here.

WD40 is not a lubricant.

right. doesn't take all the lubricants out? wouldn't it be a bad idea to run the bike like this.

Yep, it is a solvent. Leading to metal on metal wear.

PJ1 makes good stuff too. Used to use that on my dirt bikes.

I've had the best experience with Maxima Chain Wax. I tried, with good results, PJ1 Blue-Label last time and I liked it being clear, although it flung off more than Chain Wax did.

kerosene or motorex cleaner to clean, motorex lubricant to lube. WD40 should be fine....TO CLEAN, not as a lubricant.
