I'm getting ready for my first season (2010) as a triathlete and have been slowly finding more ways to incoporate workouts into my already ape shit crazy schedule, that includes both full time work and full time school.
However, I'm still not quite where I want to be in terms of training. More so, I'm nowhere near where I'd like to be in physical condition this close to the new racing season. Despite the physical and mental bliss I get after a stern swim/run or bike ride, I find it hard to get my ass out the door, sadly even when the Gods grant me some free time and decent weather conditions.
Thus, I'd like to inquire if there are any fellow MotoHoustoners (that live near Clear Lake) who have considered training for a triathlon that might be interested in a training partner.
I'm not necessarily looking for someone who is as fit, more fit, or not as fit :er: as I, nor do you have to specifically be training for a triathlon. Simply, I'm looking for someone who is working towards a similar goal of competing in a triathlon, or who spends time in the pool, on a road bike or beat-feeting the streets, that wouldn't mind a buddy everynow and then on a decent bike ride, swim or run.
It's much easier to get your ass out the door when you have not only yourself, but another keeping you accountable to your training and more importantly your end goal.
I've asked before and a few people mentioned they were either considering training for a triathlon, or was looking for a riding/running/swimming partner. I just don't remember who.:-/
