2002 Yamaha R6 - 5000 OBO

I am getting a race/track only bike, cant afford to keep two bikes, so my street baby is up for sale :crying:

Its a 2002 Yamaha YZF-R6. It has 169xx miles and is in very good condition. It has Frame sliders, Fender Elimination Kit, Flush Mount Turn Signals front and rear, Carbon Fiber Gas Gover, YZF Handlebars,YZF Tankpad and carbon fiber triple cover. It also has new sprockets and chain set, changed around 2-3 months back.

It has had the oil changed at intervals as suggested in the manual. All oil changes, maintenance has been done only by Motorcycles Unlimited. It has never seen any kind of wheelies, stoppies or any kind of stunts. Tires have around half the life left on them. The tags r good till Dec 2006 and inspection sticker is good till March 2007. I have all the receipts and the owner's manual.

The ONLY thing that is not perfect is that it has seen one lowside. There was no mechanical damage of any kind and the only lil damage was cosmetic. Left fairing has some scratches and the left headlight is cracked a lil bit. You can see it in the closeup foto of the left fairing.

I will also throw in my HJC-CL14 helmet and Icon gloves if you like them. I am asking 5000 OBO with gear. Clean title, in hand. If you have any other questions, PM me or shoot me a mail at Kalkat@gmail.com

The pic below shows the scratches from the lowside.There is NONE other damage on the bike anywhere apart from what is visible.

all right folks, i m back in US. thats the good thing.
Bad thing is I lowsided the bike at TWS on Mon :crying:
Now, I m not sure if I should fix it up, or sell it like this, or race-prep it up. The damage looks mostly plastic, though I will be taking it to MU today or tomm for a professional opinion.

I would have probably race prepped it myself, but there is only half the racing season left and I want to get started right from the next race. So I really need the cash for getting a racebike ASAP, and if somebody wants to buy the bike AS IT IS for a decent price and then fix it himself, i m open to offers.
If you are interested, you can come take a look , assess the damage and make me an offer. My current assesment is that damage is around 1000 bucks (for all new parts). It will be cheaper if you decide to keep some parts as it is or manage to get used parts
