how to make/keep leathers soft.

Just use them, Chris, when they are new, they are a little stiff, but as you use them they get softer. Also, Patrick told me to use saddle soap to clean them that make them a little suppler.

well, both my jacket and suit are well broken in, Ive had my jacket for 3 yrs now, and my suit is about 3 yrs as well.

I just wanna keep them real soft and plyable.

Go to Cavenders and pick up some leather conditioner and saddle soap, that will help, just don't go overboard. Quality leather will soften with age not as good quality won't.

Dunno how good it is for the leather over time, but I use the Meguirs gold class leather wipes and it makes my leathers nice and soft and cleans em too.
Just let it sit over night and whipe off the excess in the morning.

i use that stuff on my work boots with good conditions but for what you want Chris, try Mink Oil. its next to the saddle soap at most western wear places in their boot section.

apply with a rag in small cirlces and let it dry overnight. gets its real soft and covers up any light scratches.
