I decided 2 weeks ago that i had gotten really lazy and it had been a long ass time since i worked out and i never really got into the whole goin to the gym thing. But 2 weeks ago i started doing 20 push-ups every hour. I wake up at 6am get off the bed and hit the floor and pump out 20 then go to work and every hour i pump out 20 untill 6pm. And as soon as i get home from work i do some crunches and incline and decline push ups. This is so easy and when u think about it you are doin a shit load of push ups in one day without really trying. My arms and chest are starting to tone up. Next week i bump it up to 25 then 30 then so on till about 40-50.

I am doing the pushups 7 days a week and keeping the crunches, decline, and incline to 5 days a week.

Has anyone else tried this?
Im gunna see how long i can keep this up for.

Just be careful if you apply this to hourly sit ups. I wrecked a ligament in my knee when I wedged my feet against a wall and did sit ups on a hard floor. Took me two years before I could do sit-ups without having that stupid ligament "pop" (rather painful). This does help for military PT test though. GL.

Im goin for the more tone slim look, i figure if i get big then i really have to be commited or a will blow up big slack off then deflate and get stretch marks.

As for the hourly sit ups i dont do those. Just push ups after i get off of work at 4 and hit them up for a few hours. Hopefully i can lose about 5-10 pounds and slim down. Next week i am goin to get the Iron Gym Total Upper Body Workout Bar - Extreme Edition so i can do some Dips and more upper work out then i figure i will get a bike and ride around for some cardio and leg workouts.

Is there anything else in mind that i could do without goin to the gym and not spending an ass load of money?

I've been riding trails with my mountain bike lately, it seems to get the job done. Especially with all the weaving and dodging low tree's, roots, etc. There's a fairly new biking trail in The Woodlands where I've been going.

The main outside loop is 2.3 miles, the inner has to be at least 5 miles (look at all them twisties). :keke:

Work up to it. Memorial park has a 3 mile trail thats demarked every quarter mile. Jog a bit, then walk. Gradually increase the distance you run each session until you can do the whole thing without stopping.
