Once again, it is time to head up for our annual Labor Day event at the awesome TWS.
Those of you who have been there before are well aware of how nice this track is, and those who have not been there should rest assured knowing that coming to TWS is a guarantee to have a some of the best riding in this state.

This 2.9 mile course, comes fully equipped with facilities, shaded paddock space, A/C classrooms, showers, restrooms and a fully staffed cafeteria.
So of you plan on attending, start making those plans soon. This is a very popular event for RideSmart. We would hate to see you left behind.

Below you will find details on the flow of the day, as well as other info which will be useful for anyone who wants to participate or spectate.

ATTENTION: TWS Track Event - RIDING BEGINS AT 8 AM !! This is one hour earlier than at any other tracks. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD AND BE THERE BY 6AM.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. Lunch time will vary, however it will take place around 11:30PM. This depends on event dynamics. This is to be able to maximize your riding time.
Lunch at TWS will not be served by RideSmart. Due to a non compete arrangement, lunch can be obtained at the TWS cafeteria.

2. Parade laps riders should be present at the track at 10:30am.
Due to unpredictable nature of track logistics, parade laps can occur any time between 11:00am and 12:30pm. To ensure you get the chance to ride the track, please be on time, and wear the appropriate gear (separate parade laps thread explains all gear requirements).
Great chance to get to see what track riding is all about.


3. Every participant should make sure to bring their registration confirmation (email printout), which includes their order # and other registration information. We may request to see it to clarify information, and it will also help to make the check in process smoother for everyone.

4. Each participant is encouraged to print out their rider check in forms. Links to the forms are attached in your confirmation email.
Printing and filling out these forms will make your check in process much quicker, giving you extra time for other preparation work, or rest.

Should be as you described, 4 and 4 depending on crashes. Hopefully we wont have many..or better yet, any at all.

Did you guys know that Dave gives away 100$ to one lucky person, if noone in the level crashes? :nod:

..to address this question - it all depends on track dynamics. Riding starts earlier at TWS, but it is very hard to predict how many sessions we will get before lunch. People get up pretty early and activities on the track also do start early. 4 sessions before lunch would mean it would be at least 12pm before lunch. Although this would be optimal, we can never tell how riding unfolds. Sometimes, lengthy get offs will spell early lunch to be able to maximize track riding. So I can't really tell you either way. Lets hope for a good, controlled riding in all levels, so we can enjoy an accident free riding day, and I am confident the day will go closely to what you might expect.
No guarantees though, only hopes.

Sweet! Yeah I remeber him. What level you riding this time? Will see you there. My buddy will be there that has the black Honda, but this time he'll be sporting his new Duc 848 AMA bike he picked up. Will be set up in the usually spot by the track wall if someone don't take it from us. Got 4 tents so will have plenty of shade for you to stop by and hang out.:thumb:

Those signing for L3/4 must have the skills to be in those groups.
Officials will monitor the track, and those who register without showing the skills may be asked to leave since we will not have space to drop them down to L2, etc.

I hope this does not sound too harsh, but it is one of realities of track event hosting - some sign up for too high of a level. In this case sell out of lower levels will prevent us from dropping them down.

As most of you guys know I was rebuilding my dads GSXR for the TWS event on monday labor day. We were waiting on the parts and they finally came in today. We got the bike all put back together and running. I didnt want to register not knowing if the bike was going to be track ready and like a dummy I missed the registration. So Im asking if any of you guys have 2 spots in level 1 or 2 I will paypal you immediately. Even if there is one spot I want my dad to ride his new bike. Please let me know guys if there is any reason you cant make it. I really appreciate it guys.

What I would do is make a post in the gen section as well as in here. Alot of people leave before the day is over and some might plan on only riding a half day. Ask if you can split it with them?

well neither of our bikes are street legal... thats the only thing and I couldnt go just for parade laps. Any options would work Dave said the classes are just full.. Ill post in the general section and post if everything gets worked out so mods can clear both sections
