I have an '04 GSXR750 and am going to be getting new plugs put in as well as front and rear brake pads. Was wondering if I should stick with the NGK plugs? and what are the best brake pads?

I have used the EBC race compund pads with great results. You get about 70% of the life but amazing braking results. I imagine the street compund would be fine as well.

Fo rthe rear I'd go with the EBC NON HH pad, less prone to locking, more linear, and no squealing.
As far as plugs, stay with the NGK CR9E plug. We've done a ton of testing on GSXRs and that plug works awesome.

damn, he's good!

hey patrick, as far as NGK's go, what do you think about the "K" plugs (dual gapped) or the iridiums? worth the extra costs? or is a spark a spark?

On models that came with the dual, or "K" model NGK, they work well.
On some racebikes at very high RPM, with fuel, they can give a VERY slight advantage.
As far as irdium goes, if your bike didn't come from the factory with them, don't bother spending the extra money. However, if they did you will need to stay with them.
