Can ya or is it going to be easier to buy rims and biuld them?

Redoing a 72 Ironhead bobber. It will be chromeless....

The wheels are in great shape except the previous owner painted the front
hub turd brown like the rest of the bike before having the wheel built.

Can you coat the entire built wheel? I know if it was ever retrued the powdercoat would break at the nipples but that can be touched up.

Also need the engine covers dechromed. It is peeling. Is that something worth you trying, send it out to a chrome shop, or just sorce already stripped ones?

Thanks.

Yes we can powder the rim just like that!

Let me look at the engine covers, if they are not too bad i can blast them and then coat them!

Actually everything is good other then the awful color and hacked up frame and oil tank and electrical. Getting the frame and tank taken care of. The wireing and resealing the mill is no issue. The rear wheel is OK but the front the guy actually painted the hub BROWN before he had the wheel laced...

So you can or can't do the entire wheel as a assymbly? Hub, spokes and rim all together? If so what price range? Also what price range on the cases if you can do them? I know you can't quote exact with out seeing but just looking for a ballpark range so I know my options.

Here are pics tore down. How much to do the frame, tank and fenders when I get them repaired?

Not to thread jack but I may need to do the same on a front wheel for my project.

I need to see the fitment first to make sure it will work. The chrome is flaking bad; as for the rear wheel it was painted black (factory I believe) and is need of some refurbishing. As long as it looks half decent it would be golden in my eyes.

Should I try to clean up the front wheel?

And do I bring it in stripped of bearings, valve etc?
