I have been working out very hard since last December. I have been taking protein shakes and creatine. I have put on 15lbs lean muscle so far.
I went to the store and bought some Nitric Oxide supplement to try out, because I have hit a wall on my muscle building. After taking this supplement, it made me feel horrible. I got maybe 10mins into my workout (45mins after taking) and I felt as if I was going to pass out(very dizzy). I also felt sick to my stomach.
Anyone else had a reaction to this supplement?

Did you take the recommended dose or did you introduce it in a small quantity?

Was it just NO or one with tons of crap for energy? It sounds like too much caff. jacked you up. I cant take any of that crap on an empty stomach.

I took even less than recommended for the first time, I took 3/4 of a scoop

Yeah, it is N.O. furry. It said something about having alot of caffiene in it. Don't think I'm going to take it again tho.

Eat something about 2 hours before and take a little less. I wouldnt give up on it just yet. All of the good stuff does that if you take more then your body can tolerate. You will build a tolerance to it.

Eat something about 2 hours before and take a little less. I wouldnt give up on it just yet. All of the good stuff does that if you take more then your body can tolerate. You will build a tolerance to it.
I'll give that a shot. It is hard for me to eat 2 hours before my workout. The only time I have for working out is right when I get home from work at 530. I'll figure something out tho.

I take GNC's powder. 2 scoops in a cup of water before bed. It seems to help me fall asleep. Downside: I get ridiculous morning wood.

After a few weeks........she's gonna hate you. There's been days where taknig care of it doesn't take care of it. Just gotta wait it out!

I take N.O. Xplode and I love it, you can feel the blood flow and it gets me in a tunnel-vision almost.
I take 1 scoop (recommended dosage) and it gets me pumped. I have took too much one time and I was up all weekend and made me feel shitty.
I don't workout without

Why is it hard? No time or make you sick? If your not eating like a mad man then this is probably why you have hit a wall. Takes a lot of calories to continue to build.
Bluewave dont think i have ever asked yoiu how many calories you eat perday? Its always crazy to hear how many some of the big dudes eat. LOl

I agree with your calorie intake comment. I try to eat as much as possible, but I doubt I am getting enough. I have heard that it takes 4000-5000 cals/day to build.

There is always time. You do spend time in the car on the way home right? Not hard to make chicken breast and keep them packaged, I package mine 5oz for one ziploc baggie, oull it out and eat it cold on the way home. Ummm yummy. LOL.
You caloric intake depends on how much you weight and what kind of workout you are doing. If you dont eat it doesnt really matter what supplements you take.

Actually its pretty tasty. I use mrs. dash (i am regulating my salt intake too so mrs. dash has no salt) spicy chicken flavor and its pretty good.

it was the caffeine. Buy NOW AAKG powder form. Its the cheapest purest on market. PERIOD.
AAKG is l-arg with a delivery compound attached to it. It increases absorbility.
Warning: it tastes like SHIT. so i suggest adding it to a lil koolaide or poweraide or soemthing to mask the flavor.
does range is from 1.5g - 15g. I suggest 3-7g. 10-14g will give you viagra like affects but long term use will increase chance of prostate cancer.(at those levels)

you should try Noxavol. its the pill form and its not too expensive. i get mine from nutrition depot. all that shit thats loaded with caffein is bad for you plus you will become dependent on it and not be able to work out without it. the noxavol helps reduce lactic acid so you wont feel tired during your workout.

There are specific components that reduce latic acid. You can buy them in pure form through NOW for a way cheaper price and in pharm grade. Beta Alanine is the key ingredient for that effect. Its sole purpose is to buffer the lact acid.

dude im takin BCAA aminos apart from the noxavol. i take the nox just for the nitric oxide. i dont wanna take n.o explode or any other kind similar.

WELL what im telling you is.. buy the l-arginine /AAKG in pure form for penies on the dollar per gram serving as compared to Noxavol. If you take 2 teaspoons of pure form you are consuming 6-7g of AAKG alone. Your whole proprietary blend is only a total of 6.25 grams. NO CAFFEINE
L-arginine dosage range is from .5g to 14g .... within this range you can help heart health on the low side and have Viagra like effects on the high side.
IMO become framiliar with supps that work and buy them in pure form. YOU decide your dose. This im sure is why you dont like NOexplode and neither do I. Becase BSN chooses how much caffeine for me to take not me.

This is the one i take. It tastes like shit... Mix it with propel packets. Dont take anything with aspartame before you work out. Things like noexplode and most preworkout drinks contain it. Really gotta watch out... it causes your glucose to drop alot (hypoglycemic). You should get the picture.
This is also why diet cokes "make you fat" glucose drops and you get hungry.

supplements dont mean you can over exert yourself, i hear alot of people talking about NO but your body produces this naturally from your lungs when you do cardio. to much of any supps your bodys not used to will have some effect on you. positive or negative

i take no xplod and sometime i get that way also. if i eat it doesnt really do it but on the container it says not to take after a meal.
