I cannot even begin to tell you how brazen these individuals were. George and I rode together with Kinnlyn to On the Rocks a cigar bar off the corner of Jones and West Rd. It was a nice ride and we arrived around 9pm, we parked 8 feet from the door up on the sidewalk next to the windows of the bar, they did however have venetian blinds. We were not in there for an hour before the bike was stolen. We have confirmation of this from several of the other guests that said when they came in there were two bikes parked but when they went out to get their darts or pool sticks from their vehicles there was only one bike left. This was incredibly ballsy. As people were walking in and out of the bar constantly and there was a steady flow of traffic in the parking lot.
Thanks so much to (JustNick)Nick, Curt (MaxGS) and Lynette (Kinnlynn) for all their help and patience last night. We both sincerely appreciate it.

Yep. I still say at the very least the entire forums should not be publicly visible, among other changes that could be made to possibly protect the property and identity to others on the site.
Plenty of boards I am on require a mod/admin to approve new user sign ups. Sure this won't stop people from creating an account and lurking, but it sure will make it harder for someone to just hop on instantly and see where people's bikes are. It would also put a stop to AE's.

Depends. IF the towing company is ethical they will.
They may also just call the LEO in their area, so if it's say Jersey Village, HPD may not be aware that BillyBobs towing service has the bike.
I'd recommend picking up the phone and calling HPD, Harris County, Jersey Village, and whatever Constable has jurisdiction there.

I plan on hitting my bike when I see it on the road so my insurance will fix it.
After the rider wakes up from the coma in a bloody bathtub,
I plan on using treble barbed hooks all over their body then dragging them the number of miles they've driven my bike times the number of days I have been without it, using the bike they stole. I will drag them to the hospital because Im a nice guy, after salting their wounds w an electric buffer.
Then I will sell the rights to the rear camera video to Alpinestar for a gear commercial.

O man! Good looking out guys! That looks EXACTLY like George's bike but wrong exhaust. THANKS SO MUCH for the help on that though. WOW! I got all excited, I even thought that could be it! :eek3:
Stew, Thanks buddie. We told Troy and made a report with the local police - so there are people on it, but we are all pretty certain of the fate of the booger. :angry7:

well, in my dream, if someone wants an acomplice to say tie a thief to a chair, and cut off their ears while listening to music, than I am the man. I'll go ahead and light them on fire too for my own amusement, because I am a one sick sadistic puppy who lost anything resembling a consence before I was out of elementary school.
I think it would be fun to crush some teeth with a pair of pliers too, you know just for the hell of it.
Remind me to bring the cordless tools, and a spare battery...

no prob, if we get ahold of the thief I would love to practice some interagation tech. May lead us to more stolen goods.
I don't really have mercy for folks like that, I will cut off hands with a dull zawzall, after mashing the fingers with a hammer

Yeah yeah, not trying to knock you for the help. Just one less to check..
That one you found selling the range of parts definitely sounds like something worth checking to though!

If u hit 'search all' nothing comes up.
Im not sure how effective that website is.
Any insurance company and department can tag the VIN so when registering there will be a redflag.

Do we have any updates on any stolen bikes or an on going list of stolen bikes? I'd be glad to pass out info to some co-workers and our surrounding departments. But its basically just between Eldridge to 610E along I-10, and from clay to buffalo bayou.
Any one have success finding the monster?

To be honest, any bit of information about personal bikes should be kept to PM.
Nothing wrong with giving support, but any significant information should be kept private.
