The way it can be fixed is through reform. The initial task would be to secure the border and then allow for an easier process for Mexican nationals to get into the states to work. Of course, the illegals probably would not be to happy about having to pay out taxes. I mean, why would they want to pay for all the medical services they recieve. (may sound inconsiderate but I know I would not want to pay for something I was getting for free) I am compasionate to the situation though and understand why they would want to try and make it here for whatever reason it may be. I just wish they would quit running into me with their cars. Or somebodies car they are borrowing.

Or, my second idea is we could just annex Mexico and make it the best state in the country to visit for vacations. :icon_thum

My real parents where immigrants and my mom did cross the border to have me and I was adopted right away by my American parents. I do think their are a bunch of immigrants in America but they are mainly here for one reason and that is to better their families lives. Let's be more insightful shall we? I am white (sorta) and have no problems with immigrants. I can provide a track record if you like of my friends and significant others in my life. In fact immigrants are great! I spent a long weekend with a house full of them in Portland last October and just the language barriers alone made for great entertainment. That did not stop us from sharing meaningful moments. We jammed; I got my first bass lessons in my life from an Argentinean that spoke very little English. We went skateboarding and all fell down in very similar manners. Stopped by the bar afterwards and shared some beers and choices at the juke box. With that said...

The stats show that what we are calling white people are not the majority of the population in this country. And, reform to a system that is obviously broke can't be that bad can it? I am not saying lets round up all the illegals and drop them off somewhere else but, there has to be a better way of doing what is happening now days. There has to be a safer way for both sides of the game. I mean if things are so great then why are the Sheriffs being killed on a weekly basis in Laredo? Things on the southern border are out of control. So, the problem is not with immigrants. Immigrant usually dictates a person using proper procedures to enter a country. Illegal immigrants is a different story and when the cartel is crossing the border in .50 caliber armed hummers, dropping tons of marijuana and taking shots at are border patrol, they are illegal immigrants as well. Eh... I am tired... let’s just say I find a lot of immigrant women to be very beautiful. So, let’s get something together for them to get here safely. Over and Out

Now, this is my opinion, me, being an inmigrant (it doesn't matter if I'm hispanic, asian, or european, legal or illegal) I will try my best not to be biased. so here I go.

Fist of all, this issue is way more complicated than just "close our borders, and ship them back home" and when you have a bunch of people, namely politicians and the president that can't fix the problem and please everybody, you really think that YOU with such an ignorant option will fix the problem? please. That's not an option, that's whishful thinking laced with hatred.

Second, I hope that if people say such outlandish things as "sterilize them, kill them, or just hurt them for crossing the border" are joking, I can take jokes like that, no problem, but if YOU really mean it, I will still respect you as a person, but it's a very ignorant way to vent whatever feeling you harbor within you.

Third, if you could talk, let's say, with the owner of Landmark Chevrolet or any other new car dealership and discuss this issue, he would probably say, off the record, of course, that he hoped they'll never kicked every illegal inmigrant out, reason being is that illegal inmigrants buy a lot, they have a tremendous buying power, and sad it is that most of them are not very educated when buying a new vehicle, you know, the haggle game, they are happy that they are getting the car or truck, they'll pay anything the salesman writes in the contract. And this is just an example, I'm sure there are more.

I could go on and on, but my opinion is way too convoluted, because sometimes as a human beign I let my feelings collide with the little intelligence I still possess, sadly I see many people here just blurting brain farts.

Another thing is that such negative tought are often the result of the "education" our own parent gave us, sadly you can't blame them because that's what their parents taught them.

I'm also very disappointed to see people, some I personally know, posting this kind of inflamatory stuff, using the initernet to vent something I doubt they would openly discuss in public. I whish they would sit at a table and listen to what other people has to say and then make a more educated opinion, also , there's never too late to make amendments and think in a better, more constructive way.

I would let ya'll use my bike, but I have officially retired it from endurance racing. That thing has taken a beating and has more bends in the frame than I care to think about. :keke: I'm using it for sprints though and riding Peter's YXR100 mongrel for endurance.

There are MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of people in search of a better way of life.. be it mexico... africa.. india.. china.. japan... plenty of people are desperate. Theres no way USA can harbor them all.. If you've watched the news lately.. houston is putting on a food drive for our own children in our city.. much less country.. that are gonna go hungry this summer.. http://www.houstonfoodbank.org/donations/index.htm everyone should donate 5$ ... thats chump change for any of u who OWN a bike here.. now back on topic.. all of these people coming from mexico.. chances are.. no .. they arent taking a job i want.. or am going after.. and i beleive if they do come over here.. their should be a step by step program.. so anyone could sign up and fill out the paperwork for a temporary WORKERS license.. and if they do good .. etc etc.. allow full citizenship.. but at some magic number it has to stop.. and absolutly no free healthcare... that hurts the economy the most.. yea its said.. but people on the streets.. that are born citizens.. that poor mother and her child that were born in the states and mother whos a waitress that barley makes enough to feed both of them.. are DEVASTATED when illness hits..they dont have free healthcare... I'm a kind sympathetic person.. i dont belevie people should be handed all sorts of benifits.. benifits comes from being a good worker.. and eventually that company will give u benifits.. (most have 1-2 year probationary period pending benifits healthcare dental 401k etc..)... People that come on this bored saying people are completely stupid and ignorant.. for not wanting people to come over the borders.. are ignorant themselves.. because when sales tax rises.. and minimum wage doesnt.. and gas is 4$ a gallon again.. :-/ thanks alot.. Theres a right and wrong way to do them.. with order..
